Cheese Tornado

INGREDIENTS
Chaat masala - 2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Black salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Butter - 2 tablespoons
All purpose flour - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Milk - 300 milliliters
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
Cheddar cheese - 100 grams
All purpose flour - 120 grams
Rice flour - 2 tablespoons
Curd - 100 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Water - 250 milliliters
Potato - 530 grams
Oil - for frying
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
- In a small bowl, add 2 teaspoons chaat masala, 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin powder, 1 teaspoon paprika and 1/2 teaspoon black salt.
- Mix all the spices well. Keep aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a pan, add 1 1/2 teaspoons all purpose flour and mix it well.
- Now, add 300 milliliters milk and mix again.
- Then, add 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper and mix well.
- Add 100 grams cheddar cheese and mix continuously until dissolved.
- Keep aside.
- In a dish, add 120 grams all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons rice flour, 100 grams curd, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon paprika and mix it well.
- Now, add 250 milliliters water and mix again.
- Pin 580 grams potato in a skewer and slice a spiral cut around the sides.
- Stretch potato to expose the cuts.
- Now, coat it with prepared flour mixture from all the sides well.
- Heat oil in a pan, add the coated potato and fry until turns golden brown.
- Add the cheese tornado potato in a serving dish.
- Sprinkle the spices mixture on it.
- Now add the prepared cheese on it.
- Garnish it with coriander.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or any dip of your choice.
