Smoked Masala Chaas

INGREDIENTS

Curd - 500 grams

Mint leaves - 2 tablespoons

Ginger - 1 tablespoon

Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Cold water - 250 milliliters

Charcoal

Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon

Desi ghee - 1 teaspoon

Mint leaves - for garnish

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a blender,  add 500 grams curd, 2 tablespoons mint leaves, 1 tablespoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon salt and 250 milliliters cold water.
  2. Now, blend it until all ingredients combine together.
  3. Then, transfer it in a big bowl.
  4. Place a smoked charcoal with 1/2 teaspoon cumin. And 1 teaspoon desi ghee over it.
  5. Cover it for 2 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid and take out the charcoal.
  7. Garnish it with mint leaves.
  8. Serve chilled.
