Spicy Mango Chutney

INGREDIENTS

Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon

Onion - 70 grams

Serrano pepper - 70 grams

Red chilli flakes - 1/4 teaspoon

Dry ginger powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Curry powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon

Sea salt - 1 teaspoon

Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Orange juice - 80 milliliters

Coconut sugar - 2 tablespoons

Mango - 220 grams

 

PREPARATION

1. Heat 1 tablespoon coconut oil in a pan, add 70 grams onion and 70 grams serrano pepper.

2. Mix well until turned golden brown.

3. Now, add 1/4 teaspoon red chilli flakes, 1/4 teaspoon dry ginger powder, 1/4 teaspoon curry powder, 1/4 teaspoon

garam masala and 1 teaspoon salt.

4. Mix all the ingredients well.

5. Add 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 80 milliliters orange juice and mix again.

6. Now, add 2 tablespoons coconut sugar and give it a nice stir.

7. Then, add 220 grams mangoes and mix it well.

8. Cover the pan with lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.

9. Remove the lid, mix again and cool for 20 minutes.

10. Add the spicy mango chutney in a serving dish.

11. Serve with pakoras.
