Coconut Ladoo

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS


Ghee - 2 tablespoons

Coconut - 250 grams

Jaggery powder - 100 grams

Milk - 150 milliliters

Cardamom powder - 2 teaspoons

Almonds - 5 grams

PREPARATION

1. Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a skillet, add 250 grams coconut and cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.

2. Add 100 grams jaggery powder and mxi it well.

3. Then, add 150 milliliters milk, 2 teaspoons cardamom powder and mix it well.

4. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.

5. Add 5 grams almonds and mix it well.

6. Remove it from heat and allow it cool for 5 minutes.

7. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a ladoo.

8. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

9. Serve or store in an airtight container.

Poha Ladoo

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS

Ghee - 1 tablespoon

Flattened rice - 250 grams

Jaggery powder - 100 grams

Ghee - 2 tablespoons

Cashews - 2 tablespoons

Raisins - 2 tablespoons

Cardamom powder - 2 teaspoons

Almonds - 2 tablespoons

Condensed milk - 100 grams

PREPARATION

1. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a skillet, add 250 grams flattened rice and cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat or until it turns golden brown in color.

2. Remove it from heat and transfer this into a blender, add 100 grams jaggery powder and blend it well.

3. Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a pan, add 2 tablespoons cashews, 2 tablespoons raisins ad roast for 3 - 5 minutes or until it turns golden brown in color.

4. Remove it from heat and transfer this into a bowl, add the blended mixture, 2 teaspoons cardamom powder, 2 tablespoons almonds and mix it well.

5. Add 100 grams condensed milk and mix it well.

6. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a ladoo.

7. Serve or store in an airtight container.
