Afghan Khajoor

INGREDIENTS
Eggs - 4
Powdered sugar - 130 grams
Oil - 125 milliliters
Yeast - 1 tablespoon
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
All purpose flour - 580 grams
Warm milk - 125 milliliters
Oil - for frying
Powdered sugar - for garnishing
Pistachios - for garnishing
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 4 eggs, 130 grams powdered sugar, 125 milliliters oil, 1 tablespoon yeast, 1 teaspoon baking powder and beat them well.
2. Add 580 grams all purpose flour, 125 milliliters warm milk and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
3. Rest the dough for 3 - 4 hours.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet. Deep fry these till they are golden brown in color. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
5. Garnish with powdered sugar and pistachios.
6. Serve.
