INGREDIENTS

 

Dried Figs- 250 grams

Water- 300 millilitres

Dates- 125 grams

Water- 300 millilitres

Cashew- 25 grams

Walnuts- 25 grams

Almonds- 20 grams

Pistachios- 20 grams

Desi Ghee- 70 millilitres

Poppy Seeds- 70 grams

 

PREPARATION

 

  1. In a bowl, take 250 grams dried figs, 300 millilitres water. Soak for 4 hours.
  2. In another bowl, add 125 grams dates , 300 millilitres water. Soak for 2 hours.
  3. Add 25 grams cashews, 25 grams walnuts, 20 grams almonds, 20 grams pistachios. Grind it.
  4. In a bowl, add soaked figs, dates. Grind it.
  5. Take a pan, add 70 millilitres desi ghee, blended mixture of figs and dates. Cook it until turn brown.
  6. In a prepared  stuffing of dry fruits , take a small portion from dates and figs mixture. Mix it properly.
  7. On a wooden board, take the prepared mixture on a butter paper, flattened it with the help of a spatula.
  8. Now, spread dry fruits stuffing evenly on it. Warp it.
  9. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  10. In a plate, sprinkle 70 grams poppy seeds, prepared stuffing of dry fruits. Roll the figs-dates wrap in it.
  11. Warp it using a cling film and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  12. Cut the roll in small pieces.
  13. Serve.
