Carrot Halwa Chocolate
Servings - 3 - 4
INGREDIENTS
Carrots - 350 grams
Ghee - 80 milliliters
Khoa - 125 grams
Condensed milk - 100 grams
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Crushed almonds - 1 tablespoon
Crushed pistachios - 1 tablespoon
Crushed cashews - 2 tablespoons
Raisins - 1 tablespoon
Dark chocolate - 200 grams
White chocolate - 200 grams
PREPARATION
- Heat 80 milliliters ghee in a pan, add 350 grams grated carrots and saute for 1 - 2 minutes.
- Cover it with lid and cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Now, add 125 grams khoa and mix it.
- Then, add 100 grams condensed milk, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1 tablespoon crushed almonds, 1 tablespoon crushed pistachios, 2 tablespoons crushed cashews, 1 tablespoon raisins and mix it well.
- Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat
- Remove it from heat.
- Take 200 gm dark chocolate and microwave it with continuous stirring in between.
- Put it in chocolate mould with the help of piping bag and rotate to cover all the sides.
- Freeze it for 10 minutes to create its shell.
- Now fill the frozen chocolate shells with the prepared carrot halwa and cover the top part with the molten chocolate.
- Freeze it for another 10 minutes.
- Repeat the same process for white chocolate too.
- Serve.
