Chocolate Cream Roll

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Butter - 60 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Cold water - 160 milliliters
Butter - 125 grams
Butter - for brushing
Whipped cream - 400 grams
Cocoa powder - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Chocolate syrup - 40 milliliters
Chocolate chips - 1 tablespoon
Melted chocolate - for dipping
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, dd 300 grams all purpose flour, 60 grams butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
- Then, add 160 milliliters cold water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
- Wrap the dough in a plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Take a plastic wrap and place 125 grams butter on it. Cover it with wrap.
- Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Now, take a dough ball and roll out the dough into a large rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Place crumbled butter in the center and fold the two ends over and refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes again.
- Take the refrigerated dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Brush it with butter.
- Fold the dough and refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes. Repeat this process 3 times.
- Now, take dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Cut it into thin strips.
- Take aluminium foil cone and wrap the strip around the cone.
- Place it on a baking tray.
- Brush it with butter.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.
- Remove it from oven and allow it to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, add 400 grams whipped cream and whisk it well.
- Add 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 40 milliliters chocolate syrup, 1 tablespoon chocolate chips and mix it well.
- In a bowl, add some melted chocolate and dip the top of prepared cone in it.
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Fill it with prepared frosting.
- Serve.
