Chocolate Hazelnut Churros
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
Egg powder - 20 grams
Water - 340 milliliters, divided
Sugar - 2 teaspoons
Oil - 2 tablespoons
All purpose flour - 200 grams
Powdered sugar - 50 grams
Cinnamon powder - 1 tablespoon
Oil - for frying
Chocolate hazelnut spread
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add 20 grams egg powder, 90 milliliters water and mix it well.
- Take a pan, add 250 milliliters water, 2 teaspoons sugar, 2 tablespoons oil and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Bring it to a boil.
- Remove it from heat and place it on a board.
- Add 200 grams all purpose flour and mix it well.
- Add the prepared egg mixture and mix it well to make a thick batter.
- Fill this mixture into a piping bag.
- Make some churros on a butter paper. (See Video)
- Freeze for 45 minutes.
- In a bowl, add 50 grams powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder and mix it well. Keep aside.
- Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove it from heat.
- Roll it in powdered sugar mixture properly.
- Take the churros and prick a toothpick inside it.
- Fill it with chocolate hazelnut spread.
- Serve.
