Guava Candy

INGREDIENTS
Guava - 700 grams
Sugar - 250 grams
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Organic food color - 1 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. Cut 700 grams of guava in half. Remove the seeds and cut into slices.
2. Transfer the guava slices to a steamer. Cover and steam for 30 minutes.
3. Remove from the steamer and transfer to a blender. Blend until smooth.
4. Pour the blended puree into a pan. Add 250 grams sugar and cook until the sugar dissolves.
5. Add 1 tablespoon ghee and cook continuously over low heat until the mixture thickens.
6. Add 2 teaspoons lemon juice and 1 tablespoon ghee. Mix thoroughly.
7. Add 1 teaspoon organic food color and cook for 10–15 minutes, until the ghee starts leaving the sides of the pan.
8. Remove from the pan and transfer the mixture to a greased dish and let it rest for 8–10 minutes, or until set.
9. Once set, cut into desire pieces.
10. Serve.
