Nutella Bomboloni
Servings - 3 - 4
INGREDIENTS
Warm milk - 180 milliliters
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Yeast - 2 teaspoons
All purpose flour - 500 grams
Sugar - 45 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Eggs - 3
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 45 grams
Oil - for frying
Powdered sugar - 130 grams
Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
Nutella - for filling
PREPARATION
- In a bowl, add 180 milliliters warm milk, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 teaspoons yeast and mix it well.
- Rest the mixture for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams all purpose flour, 45 grams sugar, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well. Keep aside.
- In a another mixing bowl, add 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and whisk it well.
- Then, add the flour mixture, yeast mixture and mix it well to make a dough.
- Add 45 grams butter and mix it well.
- Rest the dough for 2 hours.
- Take the dough and dust it with all purpose flour.
- Tuck the dough well and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Cut out circles from it.
- Rest them for 40 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain it on an absorbent paper.
- In a bowl, add 130 grams powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder and mix it well.
- Coat the prepared bomboloni with it.
- Now, make a hole in it and fill it with nutella. (See Video)
