Paneer Halwa

INGREDIENTS
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Almonds - 30 grams
Cashews - 30 grams
Raisins - 30 grams
Ghee - 30 milliliters
Grated paneer - 500 grams
Milk - 200 milliliters
Khoa - 200 grams
Saffron - 1/4 teaspoon
Jaggery powder - 100 grams
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Pistachios - for garnishing
PREPARATION
- Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan, add 30 grams almonds and mix it well.
- Add 30 grams cashews, 30 grams raisins and roast for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Remove it from heat and keep aside.
- Heat 30 milliliters ghee in a heavy skillet, add 500 grams grated paneer and mix it well.
- Then, add 200 milliliters milk and mix it well.
- Bring it a boil.
- Now, add 200 grams khoa and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon saffron and mix it well.
- Then, add 100 grams jaggery powder and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Now, add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder, roasted dry fruits and mix it well.
- Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat.
- Garnish with pistachios.
- Serve.
