2 Way Potato Snacks

 Fried Potato Ice Cream

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 200 grams

Corn starch - 2 tablespoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Water - 400 milliliters

Boiled mashed potatoes - 780 grams

Corn starch - 25 grams

Carrots - 150 grams

Bell pepper - 100 grams

Onions - 60 grams

Green chili - 1 tablespoon

Salt - 2 teaspoons

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Bread crumbs - for coating

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a bowl, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons corn starch, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black salt and mix it well.

2. Add 400 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.

3. In a mixing bowl, add 780 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 25 grams corn starch, 150 grams carrots, 100 grams bell pepper, 60 grams onions, 1 tablespoon green chili, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder and mix all the ingredients well.

4. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into like a ice cream. (See Video)

5. Take a pop stick and stick it in.

6. Dip it in all purpose flour paste.

7. Then, roll it in bread crumbs. Coat it completely.

8. Heat sufficient oil in a deep fryer and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.

9. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

10. Serve hot with ketchup.

Potato Stuffed Onion Rings

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Boiled mashed potatoes - 360 grams

Processed cheese - 60 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Onion rings - 110 grams

All purpose flour - for dipping

Eggs wash - for dipping

Bread crumbs - for dipping

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 360 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 60 grams processed cheese, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and mix all the ingredients well.

2. Take a onion ring and stuff it with the potato mixture.

3. Roll them in bread crumbs, then dip it in egg wash and again roll them in bread crumbs.

4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

5. Serve hot with ketchup.
