Egg Fingers

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS


Eggs - 14

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Corn flour - for coating

Egg mixture - for dipping

Bread crumbs - for coating

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a bowl, add 14 eggs and whisk it well.

2. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.

3. Pour the mixture into a dish.

4. Place it into a steamer and steam for 15 - 20 minutes.

5. Remove it from steamer and cut it into long strips.

6. Coat it with corn flour.

7. Then, dip it in egg mixture and roll it in bread crumbs.

8. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown & crispy.

9. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

10. Serve hot with ketchup.

Potato Rava Fingers

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Water - 220 milliliters

Oil - 1/2 teaspoon

Semolina - 195 grams

Boiled mashed potatoes - 400 grams

Green chili - 2 teaspoons

Black pepper - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Coriander - 15 grams

Oil - for greasing & frying

PREPARATION

1. Heat 220 milliliters water in a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon oil, 195 grams semolina and mix it well.

2. Cook till the water get absorbed and it makes like a dough.

3. Transfer this into a bowl, add 400 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 2 teaspoons green chili, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 15 grams coriander and mix all the ingredients well.

4. Now, grease your hands with oil.

5. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a long cylindrical shape.

6. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until it turns golden brown and crispy.

7. Darin it on an absorbent paper.

8. Serve hot with ketchup.
