Vegetable Frankie

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS


Wheat flour - 160 grams

All purpose flour - 45 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil - 2 teaspoons

Warm water - 120 milliliters

Oil - 20 milliliters

Garlic - 1 teaspoon

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Onions - 70 grams

Cabbage - 75 grams

Carrots - 70 grams

Bell pepper - 210 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

Mayonnaise - 70 grams

Ketchup - 2 tablespoons

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 160 grams wheat flour, 45 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons oil and mix it well.

2. Add 120 milliliters warm water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.

3. Rest the dough for 15 - 20 minutes.

4. Heat 20 milliliters oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon green chili and stir for 1 - 2 minutes or until it turns golden brown in color.

5. Then, add 70 grams onions and fry till translucent.

6. Now, add 75 grams cabbage, 70 grams carrot, 210 grams bell pepper and mix it well.

7. Saute the veggies for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.

8. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar and mix it well.

9. Cook for another 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.

10. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

11. In a bowl, add 70 grams mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ketchup and mix it well. Keep aside.

12. Take a ball from dough and dust it with flour.

13. Flatten the dough ball with the help of a rolling pin.

14. Place it on a hot tawa and cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.

15. Remove it from heat and place it on a board.

16. Spread the prepared mayonnaise on it.

17. Add the prepared veggie mixture on it.

18. Roll it tightly.

19. Cover it with aluminium foil.

20. Serve hot.

Paneer Schezwan Frankie

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Oil - 1 tablespoon

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Schezwan sauce - 2 tablespoons

Red chili sauce - 1 tablespoon

Ketchup - 2 tablespoons

Paneer - 190 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Spring onions - 2 tablespoons

All purpose flour - 180 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Baking powder - 1 teaspoon

Water - 300 milliliters

Oil - for brushing

Chaat masala - to taste

Onions - to taste

Mozzarella cheese - to taste

PREPARATION

1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add 1 tablespoon garlic and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.

2. Add 2 tablespoons schezwan sauce, 1 tablespoon red chili sauce, 2 tablespoons ketchup and stir well.

3. Then, add 190 grams paneer and mix it well. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes.

4. Now, add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 2 tablespoons spring onions and mix it well.

5. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

6. In a mixing bowl, add 180 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 300 milliliters water and whisk it well to make a thick batter.

7. Pour some batter on tawa and cook for 2 - 3 minutes on moderate heat.

8. Then apply some oil on top of it.

9. Flip it gently and cook for another 2 - 3 minutes and apply some oil on this side too.

10. Cook till golden brown from both sides.

11. Place it on a board, sprinkle some chaat masala on top of it.

12. Add onions and some paneer mixture on it.

13. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top of it.

14. Roll it tightly and wrap in aluminium foil.

15. Serve and enjoy!
