2 ways Pakora

Gobi Pakora

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour - 30 grams

Rice flour - 15 grams

Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 100 milliliters

Cauliflower - 400 grams

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 30 grams gram flour, 15 grams rice flour, 1 tablespoon corn flour, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon

red chili, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and 100 milliliters of water.

2. Mix all the ingredients well. Add 400 grams cauliflower and mix well.

3. Heat sufficient oil in a pot. Deep fry till the pakora's are golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.

4. Serve with ketchup.

Palak Pakora

INGREDIENTS

Spinach - 250 grams

Onions - 100 grams

Gram flour - 250 grams

Rice flour - 50 grams

Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Cumin - 1 tablespoon

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Garlic - 1 teaspoon

Water - 150 milliliters

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams spinach, 100 grams onions, 250 grams gram flour, 50 grams rice flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1 tablespoon cumin, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon

garlic and 150 milliliters of water.

2. Mix all the ingredients well.

3. The batter should be thick. Pinch the dough and roll with palms to form lime-sized balls.

4. Heat sufficient oil in a pot. Deep fry till the pakora's are golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.

5. Serve with ketchup.
