Mix Veg Pakora

INGREDIENTS


Cauliflower - 50 grams

Bell pepper - 40 grams

Cabbage - 45 grams

Onions - 50 grams

Green beans - 40 grams

Carrot - 45 grams

Coriander - 8 grams

Green chili - 2 teaspoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoon

Gram flour - 125 grams

Rice flour - 25 grams

Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Water - 170 milliliters

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 50 grams cauliflower, 40 grams bell pepper, 45 grams cabbage, 50 grams onions, 40 grams green beans, 45 grams carrot, 8 grams coriander, 2 teaspoons green chili, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida and mix all the ingredients well.

2. Then, add 125 grams gram flour, 25 grams rice flour, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 170 milliliters water and mix it well.

3. Take a spoonful of mixture and drop it into hot oil.

4. Deep fry these until it turns golden brown and crispy.

5. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

6. Serve hot with ketchup.

Chinese Pakoda

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS 

Ketchup - 2 tablespoons

Chilli garlic sauce - 1 tablespoon

Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

Vinegar -1 teaspoon

Cabbage - 100 grams

Spring onions - 60 grams

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Coriander - 10 grams

Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

Vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon

Corn starch - 25 grams

All purpose flour - 6 tablespoons

Salt -1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1 teaspoon

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl add 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon chilli garlic sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar and mix well.

2. In a another mixing bowl add 100 grams cabbage, 60 grams spring onions, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, 10 grams coriander, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, 25 grams corn starch, 6 tablespoons all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and mix well. Rest 10 minutes.

3. Now add 1 teaspoon black pepper and mix well.

4. Take a small portion of the mixture and make a small balls.

5. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry this till golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

6. Serve.
