2 ways Pickle

 Onion Pickle

Servings 7 - 10

INGREDIENTS

Onions - 650 grams

Salt - 40 grams

Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons

Mustard oil - 80 milliliters

Dry mango powder - 45 grams

Black salt - 1 tablespoon

Red chili - 1 tablespoon

Turmeric - 1 tablespoon

Mustard powder - 1 tablespoon

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 650 grams onions, 40 gram salt, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and mix it well.

2. Rest for 4 hours.

3. Now, add 80 milliliters oil, 45 grams dry mango powder, 1 tablespoon black salt, 1 tablespoon red chili, 1 tablespoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon mustard powder and mix all the ingredients well.

4. Keep it in sun for 4 days.

5. Then, transfer it to glass jar or air tight container.

6. Serve.

Bitter Gourd Pickle

Servings - 7 - 10

INGREDIENTS

Bitter gourd - 700 grams

Salt - 2 tablespoons

Water - 500 milliliters

Mustard oil - 80 milliliters

Salt - 2 teaspoons

Paprika - 2 tablespoons

Fenugreek powder - 1 tablespoon

Mustard powder - 1 tablespoon

Lemon juice - 70 milliliters

PREPARATION

1. Take 700 grams bitter gourd and peel the skin.

2. Cut it into slices.

3. Transfer this into a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons salt and mix it well.

4. Rest for 30 minutes.

5. Rinse the bitter gourd in 500 milliliters water.

6. Then, transfer this into a bowl, add 80 milliliters mustard oil, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 tablespoons paprika, 1 tablespoon fenugreek powder, 1 tablespoon mustard powder and mix it well

7. Now, add 70 milliliters lemon juice and mix it again.

8. Keep it in sun for 4 - 6 days.

9. Then, transfer it to glass jar or air tight container.

10. Serve.
