2 Ways Sandwich 

Veg Chilli Cheese Toast
Servings - 3 - 5

 

INGREDIENTS
Bell pepper - 165 grams
Boiled corn - 55 grams
Onions - 1 tablespoon
Oregano - 1 teaspoon
Garlic - 1/2 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/8 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Sandwich bread
Butter
Mozzarella cheese

 

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 165 grams bell pepper, 55 grams boiled corn, 1 tablespoon onions, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon green chili, 1/8 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix all the ingredients well.
2. Lightly butter the bread slice and toast them on a skillet until light golden brown, transfer to a board.
3. Now spread the prepared veggie mix generously all over the toasted bread slice, top off with mozzarella cheese.
4. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 5 - 10 minutes or until cheese is browned and bubbling.
5. Cut it into two parts.
6. Serve hot with ketchup.

 

Besan Bread Toast

INGREDIENTS
Onions - 2 tablespoons
Tomato - 30 grams
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Gram flour - 40 grams
Turmeric - 1/8 teaspoon
Carom - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Asafoetida - 1/8 teaspoon
Water - 65 milliliters
Ghee
Sandwich bread

 

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons onions, 30 grams tomato, 1 teaspoon green chili, 1 teaspoon ginger, 40 grams gram flour, 1/8 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon carom, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons coriander, 1/8 teaspoon asafoetida and 65 milliliters water to make a thick batter.
2. Beat the batter with spoon for 1 - 2 minutes.
3. Heat a pan with ghee.
4. Place the bread slice over it. Spoon the batter on the top side of bread just before flipping it. Do it carefully.
5. Fry both sides until the batter is completely cooked or turn golden brown.
6. Serve hot.
