Afghani Fateer Pyazi

INGREDIENTS
Dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
Sugar - 2 teaspoons
Warm water - 50 milliliters
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Water - 150 milliliters
Butter - for brushing
Onions - to taste
Chilli flakes - to taste
Coriander - to taste
Milk - for brushing
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add 2 teaspoons dry yeast, 2 teaspoons sugar, 50 milliliters wam water and mix it well.
- Rest the mixture for 5 minutes.
- Add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
- Add 150 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
- Rest the dough for 2 hours.
- Divide the dough into equal portions.
- Take one portion of the dough and dust it with flour.
- Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Brush it with butter.
- Add some onions on top of it.
- Sprinkle some chilli flakes and coriander on it.
- Roll it up to form a swiss roll.
- Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Take the roll and dust it with flour.
- Flatten it with the help of your fingers.
- Prick it with fork and place it on a baking tray.
- Brush it with milk.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for about 12 - 15 minutes.
- Remove it from oven.
- Serve hot with curd.
