Aloo Cheese Lollipop With Spicy Dip

INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 700 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Onions - 70 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Processed cheese - 55 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
Basil - 1/2 teaspoon
Corn flour - 35 grams
All purpose flour - 110 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Bread crumbs - for coating
Oil - for frying
Mayonnaise - 60 grams
Red chili sauce - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
PREPARATION
- Take a pressure cooker, add 700 grams potatoes, 500 milliliters water and cover it with lid.
- Cook until you hear 2 whistles.
- Open the lid and remove it from heat.
- Peel the potatoes and transfer this into a bowl.
- Mash the potatoes with the help of a food masher.
- Add 70 grams onions, 1 tablespoon green chili, 2 tablespoons coriander, 55 grams processed cheese, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1/2 teaspoon basil, 35 grams corn flour and mix it well.
- Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a tikki.
- Prick a popstick inside it.
- In a mixing bowl, add 110 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 300 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
- Dip the prepared lollipop in it and then coat it with bread crumbs properly.
- Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
- In a bowl, add 60 grams mayonnaise, 1 1/2 tablespoons red chili sauce, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
- Serve with prepared lollipop.
