Cheese Biscuits

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 200 grams
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilled butter - 100 grams
Cheddar cheese - 100 grams
Chilled milk - 80 milliliters
Sea salt - to taste
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper and mix well.
- Now add, 100 grams chilled butter, crumble with hands till it gets bread crumbs like texture.
- Then , add 100 grams cheddar cheese and mix well with spatula.
- Add 80 milliliters chilled milk and mix .
- Combine all the ingredients and knead it to make a dough.
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough in two equal parts.
- Flatten it with the help of rolling pin and cut the edges.
- Now cut it into square biscuit shape.
- Again refrigerate 20 grams.
- Transfer it in baking tray.
- Sprinkle some sea salt on biscuits.
- Preheat the oven at 400°F/200°C and bake for 8- 10 minutes.
- Take out the prepared biscuits and let it cool.
- Serve.
