Cheesy Potato Wedges
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
Water - 1.5 litres
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Potatoes - 550 grams
Paprika - to taste
Salt - to taste
Oil - to taste
Butter - 45 grams
All purpose flour - 30 grams
Milk - 500 milliliters
Sour cream - 150 milliliters
Pizza sauce - 1 tablespoon
Jalapeno pickle - 2 tablespoons
Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese
Chilli flakes - to taste
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
- Take a skillet, add 1.5 litres water, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
- Then, add 550 grams potatoes and mix it well.
- Cover it with lid and cook for about 5 - 6 minutes on medium heat.
- Open the lid and remove it from heat.
- Transfer this onto a baking tray.
- Sprinkle some paprika and salt over it.
- Add some oil on top of it.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Bake for about 30 minutes.
- Remove it from oven.
- Heat 45 grams butter in a pan, add 30 grams all purpose flour and mix it well.
- Then, add 500 milliliters milk and mix it well.
- Bring it to a boil.
- Add 150 milliliters sour cream and mix it well.
- Add 1 tablespoon pizza sauce, 2 tablespoons jalapeño pickle and mix it well.
- Now, add 100 grams mozzarella cheese, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat and keep aside.
- Take a baking dish and add some mozzarella cheese on it.
- Then, add the baked potatoes on it.
- Drizzle some prepared cheese sauce on top of it.
- Now, add some mozzarella cheese on it.
- Sprinkle some chilli flakes on top of it.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Bake for about 15 minutes.
- Remove it from oven.
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve hot.
