Nut Rolls

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Yeast - 2 teaspoons
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Warm milk - 250 milliliters
Sugar - 125 grams
Eggs - 2
Butter - 60 grams
All purpose flour - 800 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Walnuts - 195 grams
Brown sugar - 80 grams
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 30 milliliters
Raisins - to taste
Butter - for brushing

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 teaspoons yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar, 250 milliliters warm milk and mix it well.
2. Rest the mixture for 5 - 8 minutes.
3. Add 125 grams sugar, 2 eggs, 60 grams butter, 800 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
4. Rest the dough for 1 1/2 hours.
5. In a blender, add 195 grams walnuts, 80 grams brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 30 milliliters milk and blend it well.
6. Take a ball from from dough and flatten it with the help of rolling pin.
7. Put some prepared walnuts mixture on it and spread it evenly.
8. Add some raisins on top of it.
9. Roll it up gently.
10. Place it on a baking dish.
11. Rest the roll for 30 minutes.
12. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes.
13. Remove it from oven and cool it completely.
14. Brush it with butter.
15. Cut it into slices.
16. Serve.

Lemon Rakija

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Lemon - 3 - 4
Powdered sugar - 50 grams
Unflavoured rakija - 1 litre

PREPARATION
1. In a jug, add 3 - 4 lemon cut it into half. Squeeze them well in the jug.
2. Add 50 grams powdered sugar, 1 litre unflavoured rakija and stir well.
3. Serve.

Crumpets

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Warm milk - 220 milliliters
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Dry yeast - 1 tablespoon
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Warm water - 220 milliliters
Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
Butter - for

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 220 milliliters warm milk, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon dry yeast and mix it well.
2. Rest the mixture for 10 minutes.
3. Add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
4. Rest the dough for 1 hour.
5. In a jug, add 220 milliliters warm water, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and mix it well.
6. Add this mixture into the dough and mix it well to make a thick batter.
7. Rest the batter for 30 minutes.
8. Heat some butter in a pan, place a round mould on it.
9. Pour the batter into the mould. After 4-5 minutes bubbles should appear and the surface should be set.
10. Remove the mould and turn the crumpet.
11. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes.
12. Serve hot.

White lady Cocktail

Serving - 1

INGREDIENTS
Ice
Gin - 120 milliliters
Cointreau - 30 milliliters
Lemon juice - 30 milliliters
Egg white - 1

PREPARATION
1. In a shaker, add ice, 120 milliliters gin, 30 milliliters cointreau, 30 milliliters lemon juice, 1 egg white and close the shaker.
2. Shake well to combine all the ingredients.
3. Pour the cocktail into the glass.
4. Garnish with lemon peel.
5. Serve.
