Maggi Cones
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Butter - 35 milliliters
Water - 150 milliliters
Aluminium foil
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Onions - 50 grams
Carrots - 40 grams
Green peas - 40 grams
Bell pepper - 85 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
Oregano - 1/4 teaspoon
Maggi noodles - 140 grams
Water - 400 milliliters
Green chili sauce - 2 teaspoons
Maggi masala - 20 grams
Cheese slices - 2
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 35 milliliters butter and mix it well.
- Add 150 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
- Rest the dough for 20 minutes.
- Take a aluminium foil and make a cone of it and keep aside.
- Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Cut it into a half.
- Take the prepared cone and roll it on dough. (See Video)
- Place it on a baking tray.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for about 20 minutes.
- Remove it from oven and remove the foil.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 50 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Then, add 40 grams carrots, 40 grams green peas, 85 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1/4 teaspoon oregano and mix it well.
- Now, add 140 grams maggi noodles and mix it well.
- Add 400 milliliters water and mix it again.
- Bring it to a boil.
- Add 2 teaspoons green chili sauce, 20 grams maggi masala and mix it well.
- Cover it with lid and cook for about 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
- Add 2 slices of cheese and mix it well.
- Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat.
- Add the prepared maggi into the cones.
- Serve hot.
