Oats Poha

INGREDIENTS

Rolled oats - 200 grams

Water - 800 milliliters ( divided )

Sweet corns - 40 grams

Green peas - 40 grams

Oil - 1 tablespoon

Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon

Curry leaves - 1 tablespoon

Raw peanuts - 2 tablespoons

Green chili - 1 tablespoon

Onion - 80 grams

Sugar - 1 teaspoon

Tomato - 100 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon

Lemon juice - 1/4 teaspoon

Coriander - 1 tablespoon

Coriander - for garnish

 

PREPARARTION

  1. In a bowl, add 200 grams rolled oats and 500 milliliters water.
  2. Soak for 5-8 minutes.
  3. In a pan, add 300 milliliters water and bring it to boil.
  4. Now, add 40 grams sweet corn and 40 grams green peas.
  5. Boil for 5-8 minutes.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan, add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds and stir well.
  7. Add 1 teaspoon curry leaves and stir well.
  8. Now, add 2 tablespoons raw peanuts, 1 tablespoon green chili and 80 grams onion and sauté for a minute.
  9. Add 1 teaspoon sugar, and stir until it dissolves completely.
  10. After that, add 100 grams tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  11. Now add boiled veggies and stir well.
  12. Sauté for minutes.
  13. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and mix.
  14. Add soaked oats and mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  15. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili and mix.
  16. Cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
  17. Now, add 1 tablespoons lemon juice and mix.
  18. Add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix well.
  19. Remove the pan from heat.
  20. Garnish it with coriander.
  21. Serve.
