Paneer Lachha Paratha
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
Wheat Flour - 200 grams
All Purpose Flour - 200 grams
Oil - 20 milliliters
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Water - 250 milliliters
Paneer- 250 grams
Onions - 40 grams
Green chilli - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli - 1/4 teaspoon
Dry mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams wheat flour, 200 grams all purpose flour, 20 milliliters oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 250 milliliters water and and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
- Rest for 30 minutes.
- In a another mixing bowl, add 250 grams, 40 grams onions, 1 teaspoon green chilli, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli, 1/2 teaspoon dry ma ego powder, 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds, 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
- Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Now spread paneer stuffing on it.
- Then, start folding it into strips and roll back it into round shape.
- Dust with flour and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Now, place it on a hot tawa and cook on moderate heat for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Flip it gently and spread some oil over it.
- Cook for another 2 - 3 minutes.
- Then, flip it again and spread some desi ghee on other side too.
- Cook till it turns brown from both side.
- Serve with achar.
