Potato Cheese Toast

INGREDIENTS
Water - 1 litre
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Potatoes - 500 grams
Milk - 70 milliliters

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
Bread slices - 14
Mozzarella cheese - 200 grams
Butter - 50 grams
PREPARATION
1. In a pan, bring 1 litre water to a boil. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 500 grams potatoes. Stir, cover, and boil for 10–12 minutes or until tender.
2. Drain the potatoes, transfer to a bowl and mash them by using food masher. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Mix well to combine.

5. Take a bread slice and gently press the center using a spoon to create a shallow well. Add a little mozzarella cheese in the center, then top with a spoonful of the potato mixture. Spread evenly.
6. Cover with another bread slice that has also been pressed in the center. Spread some butter on top.
7. Transfer the toast on to a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 356°F/180°C and bake for 5 - 7 minutes. Remove from the oven.
8. Place the baked toast on a board, cut into 4 square slices.
9. Serve.
