Vegetable Fried Rice Jain Style

INGREDIENTS
Rice - 200 grams
Water - 1 litre ( divided )
Water - 1.5 litre
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 200 milliliters
Green beans - 50 grams
Oil - 2 teaspoons
Bell pepper - 75 grams
Cabbage - 50 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Dry ginger powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
Red chili sauce - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 1/4 teaspoon
PREPARATION
- In mixing bowl, add 200 grams rice and 500 milliliters water and wash thoroughly.
- Now, add washed rice in a bowl and 500 milliliters water.
- Soak for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Heat a wok, add 1.5 litre water, 1 tablespoon oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and soaked rice. Stir well.
- Cook for 12 - 15 minutes.
- Remove the pan from heat.
- Strain the water from rice. Keep aside.
- In a pan, add 200 milliliters water and 50 grams green beans.
- Boil for 3-4 minutes. Keep aside.
- In a pan, add 2 teaspoons oil, 75 grams bell pepper and boiled green beans.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on moderate heat.
- Now, add 50 grams chopped cabbage, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon dry ginger powder. Mix well.
- Then, add 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon red chili sauce, 1/4 teaspoon sugar and stir well.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked rice and give it a nice mix.
- Remove the pan from heat.
- Serve.
