Gajar Badam Milk

INGREDIENTS
Almonds - 40 grams
Water - 60 milliliters
Dry dates - 40 grams
Water - 110 milliliters, divided
Grated carrots - 180 grams
Milk - 800 milliliters
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Jaggery powder - 60 grams
PREPARATION
- In a bowl, add 40 grams almonds, 60 milliliters water and soak for 1 hour.
- In a another bowl, add 40 grams dry dates, 60 milliliters water and soak for 1 hour.
- In a blender, add the soaked peeled almonds, soaked dates, 60 milliliters water and blend it into a paste. Keep aside.
- Take a deep pan, add 180 grams grated carrots, 800 milliliters milk and mix it well.
- Bring it to a boil. Boil for about 10 - 12 minutes on medium heat.
- Then, add the blended paste in it and mix it well.
- Now, add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder, 60 grams jaggery powder and mix it well.
- Bring it to a boil. Boil for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat.
- Serve hot.
