Nawabi Paneer

INGREDIENTS
Paneer - 300 grams
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil - 1/2 teaspoon
Cashews - 2 tablespoons
Hot water - 60 milliliters
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Grated coconut - 40 grams
Green chili - 2
Cinnamon stick - 1
Cloves - 2 pods
Green cardamom - 2 pods
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Water - 60 milliliters
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 175 grams
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
Coconut milk - 250 milliliters
Boiled green peas - 65 grams
Bell pepper - 200 grams
Water - 80 milliliters
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
PERPARATION
1. Take 300 grams paneer and cut it into triangle slices.
2. Transfer this into a bowl, add 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon oil and mix all the ingredients well.
3. Marinate for 20 minutes.
4. In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons cashews, 60 milliliters hot water and soak for 1 hour.
5. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add the marinated paneer in it and shallow fry until it turns golden brown in color from all sides.
6. Remove it from heat and drain it on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
7. In a blenders dd 40 grams grated coconut, soaked cashews, 2 green chili, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 pods cloves, 2 pods green cardamom, 1 teaspoon cumin, 60
milliliters water and blend it into a smooth paste. Keep aside.
8. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a skillet, add 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon ginger and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
9. Then, add 175 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
10. Now, add the blended paste in it and mix it well.
11. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.
12. Add 1 teaspoons alt, 1 teaspoon black pepper and mix it agin.
13. Then, add 250 milliliters coconut milk and stir well.
14. Bring it to a boil.
15. Now, add 65 grams boiled green peas, 200 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
16. Cook for 7 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
17. Add 80 milliliters water and stir well.
18. Now, add the fried paneer in it and mix it well.
19. Cook for another 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
20. Add 2 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
21. Garnish with coriander.
22. Serve hot with roti or naan.
