Chicken Bread Cones

INGREDIENTS
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 40 grams
Bell pepper - 135 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Cayenne powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Onion powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Boiled shredded chicken - 430 grams
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
All purpose flour - 160 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Corn flour - 2 teaspoons
Water - 40 milliliters
Bread slices
Cheddar cheese - to taste
Bread crumbs - for coating
Oil - for frying
PREPARATION
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet, add 40 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Then, add 135 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder and mix it well.
- Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Now, add 430 grams boiled shredded chicken, 2 tablespoons coriander and mix it well.
- Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat and keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add 160 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
- Add 300 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
- In a bowler dd 2 teaspoons corn flour, 40 milliliters water and mix it well.
- Take a bread slice and cut it’s sides.
- Flatten it with the help a rolling pin.
- Brush one side with prepared corn flour batter.
- Now, make a cone of it.
- Fill it with prepared chicken mixture and add some cheddar cheese in it.
- Brush the top of the cone with prepared batter and seal it properly.
- Dip it in the prepared all purpose flour batter and then roll it in bread crumbs properly.
- Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain it on an absorbent paper.
- Cut it into half.
- Serve hot with ketchup.
