Egg Bread Bites
Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
Bread slices
Eggs - 3
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Butter - for shallow frying
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 110 grams
Bell pepper - 220 grams
Tomato - 80 grams
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Boiled eggs - 4
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
PREPARATION
- Take a bread slice and cut it’s edges. Cut it into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon green chili and whisk it well.
- Take the piece of a bread and dip it in the egg mixture properly.
- Heat some butter in a pan, add the piece of bread in it and cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
- Remove it from heat and keep aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet, add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and stir well.
- Then, add 110 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Now, add 220 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
- Cook for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 80 grams tomato and mix it well.
- Saute for 5 - 7 minutes o medium heat or until it turns soft and pulpy.
- Add 1 teaspoon green chili, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
- Then, add 4 boiled eggs in it and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
- Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat.
- Take the shallow fried bread and add the prepared egg mixture on top of it.
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve hot.
