Jaggery Poha
Servings - 8
INGREDIENTS
Jaggery - 65 grams
Water - 80 milliliters
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Cashew powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Almond powder - 1 teaspoon
Coconut powder - 1 teaspoon
Soaked poha - 85 grams
PREPARATION
1. Take a pan, add 65 grams jaggery, 80 milliliters water and stir continuously until the jaggery is fully dissolved.
2. Remove it from heat and strain the syrup. Keep aside.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a skillet, add the prepared jaggery syrup, 1/2 teaspoon cashew powder, 1 teaspoon almond powder, 1 teaspoon coconut powder and mix it well.
4. Add 85 grams soaked poha and mix it well.
5. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
6. Remove it from heat.
7. Serve.
Sweet Potato Pancake
Servings - 12
INGREDIENTS
Boiled sweet potato - 180 grams
Banana - 65 grams
Curd - 120 grams
Milk - 150 milliliters
Wheat flour - 150 grams
Ghee - 1/2 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 180 grams boiled sweet potatoes, 65 grams banana, 120 grams curd and whisk it well.
2. Add 150 milliliters milk and mix it well.
3. Then, add 150 grams wheat flour and mix it again.
4. Add 100 milliliters milk and mix it again to make a thick batter.
5. Heat 1/2 teaspoon ghee in a pan, add the prepared mixture on it and spread it evenly.
6. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes on moderate heat and flip it gently.
7. Cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
8. Remove it from heat.
9. Serve.
