Dahi Chura

Servings - 8

INGREDIENTS

Curd - 200 grams
Almond powder - 1 teaspoon
Cashew powder - 1 teaspoon
Jaggery powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Washed poha - 75 grams
Water - 500 milliliters

PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 200 grams curd, 1 teaspoon almond powder, 1 teaspoon cashew powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons jaggery powder and mix it well. Keep aside.
2. In a another bowl, add 75 grams washed poha, 500 milliliters water and soak for 5 minutes.
3. Strain the poha and transfer this into a bowl, add the curd mixture in it.
4. Mash the poha with the help of a food masher.
5. Serve.

Vegetable Dalia Khichdi

Servings - 6

INGREDIENTS
Split mung beans - 1 tablespoon
Water - 50 milliliters
Broken wheat - 3 tablespoons
Water - 150 milliliters
Carrots - 20 grams
Broccoli - 20 grams
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/8 teaspoon
Water - 150 milliliters
Ghee - 1 teaspoon
Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoon

PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon split mung beans, 50 milliliters water and soak for 15 - 20 minutes.
2. In a another bowl, add 3 tablespoons broken wheat, 150 milliliters water and wash it properly.
3. Drain the broken wheat and keep aside.
4. Take a pressure cooker, add the soaked split mung beans, washed broken wheat, 20 grams carrots, 20 grams broccoli, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon turmeric, 150 milliliters water and mix it well.
5. Cover it with lid and cook until you hear 2 - 3 whistles.
6. Open the lid and mash the mixture with the help of a food masher.
7. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
8. Heat 1 teaspoon ghee in a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds and stir well.
9. Now, add the cooked khichdi in it and mix it well.
10. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
11. Remove it from heat.
12. Serve.
