Atta Suji Halwa

INGREDIENTS
Ghee - 30 milliliters
Wheat flour - 50 grams
Semolina - 1 tablespoon
Water - 250 milliliters
Sugar - 2 teaspoons
Dry fruit powder - 2 teaspoons
PREPARATION
- Heat 30 milliliters ghee in a pan, add 50 grams wheat flour and mix it well.
- Add 1 tablespoon semolina and mix it well.
- Then, add 250 milliliters water and mix it well.
- Cook until the mixture thickens.
- Add 2 teaspoons sugar, 2 teaspoons dry fruit powder and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat.
- Serve.
Strawberry Banana & Papaya Salad

INGREDIENTS
Banana - 80 grams
Strawberry - 80 grams
Papaya - 80 grams
Black salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Honey - 1 teaspoon
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix it well.
- Serve.
Sweet Potato Green Peas Tikki
Servings - 2
INGREDIENTS
Sweet potatoes - 350 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Boiled green peas - 30 grams
Semolina - 1 tablespoon
Black salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil - for shallow frying
PREPARATION
- Take a pressure cooker, add 350 sweet potatoes, 500 milliliters water and cover it with lid.
- Cook until you hear 1 whistle.
- Open the lid and remove it from heat.
- Peel and mash the sweet potatoes.
- Transfer this into a bowl, add 30 grams boiled green peas, 1 tablespoon semolina, 1/4 teaspoon black salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala and mix it well.
- Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a tikki.
- Heat some oil in a pan, add the prepared tikki in it.
- Cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
- Remove it from heat and drain it on an absorbent paper.
- Serve.
Vegetable Khichdi
Servings - 2
INGREDIENTS
Rice - 80 grams
Split mung beans - 35 grams
Water - 300 milliliters
Ghee - 2 tablespoons
Cumin - 1/4 teaspoon
Onions - 40 grams
Green peas - 30 grams
Carrot - 40 grams
Broccoli - 40 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 500 milliliters
PREPARATION
- In a bowl, add 80 grams rice, 35 grams split mung beans, 300 milliliters water and soak for 30 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a pressure cooker, add 1/4 teaspoon cumin and stir well.
- Then, add 40 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Now, add 30 grams green peas, 40 grams carrot, 40 grams broccoli and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and mix it well.
- Then, add the soaked rice and lentils and mix it well.
- Now, add 500 milliliters water and mix it well.
- Cover it with lid and cook until you hear 1 whistle.
- Open the lid and remove it from heat.
- Serve.
