Vegetable Chapati Bites

INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour - 200 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Water - 160 milliliters
Butter - 1 teaspoon
Onions - 40 grams
Bell pepper - 150 grams
Carrots - 50 grams
Cabbage - 50 grams
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Paneer - 60 grams
Avocado - 70 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
Ghee - for brushing
PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams wheat flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon ghee, 160 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
- Rest the dough for 20 minutes.
- Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a pan, add 40 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Then, add 150 grams bell pepper, 50 grams carrots, 40 grams cabbage and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
- Now, add 60 grams paneer and mix it well.
- Cook for another 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove it from heat and keep aside.
- In a blender, add 70 grams avocado, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons lemon juice and blend it into a paste. Keep aside.
- Take a ball from dough and dust it with flour.
- Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
- Place it on a hot tawa and cook on moderate heat for 2 - 3 minutes and flip it gently.
- Brush it with ghee.
- Flip it again and brush the other side too.
- Cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
- Remove it from heat and place it on a board.
- Add the prepared avocado paste on it and spread it evenly.
- Then, add the prepared paneer mixture on it.
- Roll it tightly.
- Prick some toothpick in it.
- Cut it into pieces.
- Serve.
