Homemade Chocolate Biscuits

Servings - 4 - 5

INGREDIENTS
Oats - 200 grams
Wheat flour - 320 grams
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Powdered brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 250 grams
Fresh cream - 70 milliliters
Melted chocolate

PREPARATION
1. In a blender, add 200 grams oats, 320 grams wheat flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon powdered brown sugar and blend well.
2. Transfer this into a mixing bowl, add 250 grams butter and mix it well.
3. Then, add 70 milliliters fresh cream and knead it into a dough.
4. Refrigerate the dough for 10 - 15 minutes.
5. Take the dough and dust it with flour.
6. Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
7. Cut out circles from it.
8. Place it on a baking tray.
9. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes.
10. Remove it from oven.
11. Add some melted chocolate on top of it.
12. Again refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes.
13. Serve.

Jam Biscuits

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Butter - 100 grams
Powdered sugar - 70 grams
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Cold water - 60 milliliters
All purpose flour - 200 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Mix fruit jam

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams butter, 70 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.
2. Now, add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, 60 milliliters cold water and mix it again.
3. Then, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and knead it into a smooth dough.
4. Refrigerate for 10 - 15 minutes.
5. Now, Make a chapati like shape and cut into any shape with the help of a biscuit cutter. Stamp out a smaller circle from the middles of half the biscuits. (See video)
6. Put the biscuits on baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160°C. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
7. When completely cold, spread the round corners of biscuits with mix fruit jam with help of icing cone.
8. Put ring-shaped biscuits on top of a jam-covered biscuit and press lightly together.
9. Dust the ring-shaped biscuits with powdered sugar.
10. Fill the top middle part of biscuits with thin layer of mix fruit jam.
11. Serve.
