Creamy Black Pepper Chicken Drumsticks

INGREDIETNTS

Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon

Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Cayenne pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon

Chicken drumstick - 980 grams

Red bell pepper - 70 grams

Olive oil - 1 teaspoon

Olive oil - 2 tablespoon ( divided )

Butter - 1 tablespoon

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Oregano - 1 teaspoon

Dried thyme - 1/2 teaspoon

Milk - 200 milliliters

Cream cheese - 50 grams

Fresh cream - 2 tablespoons

Chicken stock - 300 milliliters

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Cilantro - for garnish

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon black pepper powder. Mix well.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 980 grams chicken drumsticks and sprinkle prepared seasoning over chicken and mix well.
  3. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. In a baking tray, add 70 grams bell pepper and drizzle 1 teaspoon olive oil and coat well.
  5. Bake at 350º F/ 180º C for 10 -12 minutes.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan, add marinated chicken drumstick and cook for 5-8 minutes and keep aside.
  7. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan , add 1 tablespoon garlic, sauté for a minute.
  8. Add  1 teaspoon oregano and 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme and mix well.
  9. Add 200 milliliters milk and give it a stir.
  10. Add 50 grams cream cheese and 2 tablespoons fresh cream and mix.
  11. Add 300 milliliters chicken stock and bring it to boil.
  12. Add baked bell pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder and mix well.
  13. Remove the pan from heat.
  14. Pour the sauce oven chicken and bake it at 400ºF / 200ºC for 30 minutes.
  15. Garnish it with cilantro.
  16. Serve hot.
