Custard Badam Sharbat

INGREDIENTS
Almond - 50 grams
Water - 200 milliliters
Chia seeds - 2 tablespoons
Water - 100 milliliters
Milk - 50 milliliters
Custard powder - 2 tablespoons
Milk - 25 milliliters
Milk - 1 litre
Sugar - 75 grams
Almond - 2 tablespoons
( For assembling )
Ice cubes
Soaked chia seeds
Prepared sharbat
Almonds
Pistachios
PREPARATION
- In a small bowl, add 50 grams almond, 200 milliliters water.
- Soak for 2 hours.
- In a small bowl, add 2 tablespoons chia seeds and 100 milliliters water.
- Soak for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, add 50 milliliters milk, 2 tablespoons custard powder. Mix well and keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add soaked almonds and 25 milliliters milk .
- Transfer it to blender and blend it to smooth paste.
- In a wok, add 1 litre milk and bring it to boil.
- Add 75 grams sugar and stir until it get dissolves completely.
- Now, add prepared blended almond paste, prepared custard milk and stir well.
- Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
- Now, add 2 tablespoons chopped almonds and give it a stir.
- Remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- For assembling, In a glass, add some ice cubes, soaked chia seeds and prepared sharbat.
- Garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachios.
- Serve chilled
